Markets regulator SEBI on Saturday (April 29) sought an additional six months from the Supreme Court to complete the probe in the Adani-Hindenburg case. SEBI told the Supreme Court that considering the complexity of the case, it would take at least 15 months to complete the investigation, but would try to finish it in 6 months.
Hindenburg accused of stock manipulation
On January 24, Hindenburg Research published a report regarding the Adani Group. In the report, allegations ranging from money laundering to share manipulation were made on the group. After the report, there was a huge fall in the shares of the group. However, later it recovered.
