According to news agency ANI, the UP police said that the police have increased the reward from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh for the arrest of Saddam, brother-in-law of mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed.

He is alleged to have made the shooters meet Ashraf in Bareilly Jail. Saddam is also accused of providing VIP facility to brother-in-law Ashraf by meeting Bareilly jail administration. Apart from police, STF is also trying to arrest Saddam.

At the same time, the surrender application of Atiq Ahmed’s sister Ayesha Noori is also to be heard on April 30. The CJM court has sought a report from the Dhumganj police in this matter. Ayesha is accused of helping the shooters of the Umesh Pal murder case.
Similarly, the search for Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen has also been intensified. Recently there was a raid in Delhi to find him. Investigating agencies had received inputs that Shaista had approached a lawyer. On this basis, raids were conducted in Karolbah and Jamia Nagar.
Apart from Delhi, a team of STF is also keeping a constant vigil in Lucknow. Apart from the lawyer, it is being said that he has also contacted the leader of the political party. STF is working on every input related to it by staying on alert mode.
