‘102 Not Out’ director Umesh Shukla said the actor often used to check whether the filmmakers and other artistes were understanding their work well or not. Actress Manisha Koirala said that no one can fill the void created in Bollywood by Rishi Kapoor’s departure. Jackie Shroff told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “Her charm, her twinkling eyes, her beautiful smile, was very endearing. There was a time when my friends and I used to hang out on Napean Sea Road in Mumbai and I used to meet them there. That was my favourite. That was great. He was very good at romance, comedy and emotion. He was one of the finest actors.”
