Talking at an event, Navy Chief Admiral Hari Kumar said that at one point of time, there are about three to six Chinese warships in the Indian Ocean. Apart from this, some Chinese research ships and some fishing vessels are also present there. We keep refining our plans. This also helps in the development of our potential. Chinese Navy ships are present near the ports of many countries including Pakistan. The Indian Navy is keeping a close watch on this.
Navy Chief said that Pakistan Navy is developing very fast and it is continuously adding new warships to its fleet. At the same time, China has inducted many ships and submarines in the last 10 years. China is also working on a third aircraft carrier. Is building several large destroyers. The Navy Chief said that we are keeping a close watch on the Indian Ocean region. Our effort is to know who is present there and what they are doing. It is being monitored continuously and we are deploying aircraft, drones, ships, submarines.
Talking about China’s research ships, Admiral Kumar said that these ships can track and collect electronic signals. So when they are near Indian territory, we track them. On the other hand, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary said that we have to work on it that apart from the ground attack platform, we also have a space-based warfare system.
