New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki unveiled its two new SUVs Fronx and Jimny at the last Auto Expo. Along with introducing these SUV cars, the company had also started their official booking. Yesterday, Maruti officially launched the new Fronx for sale while announcing the prices. But now people are eagerly waiting for the next offering of the company, Maruti Jimny. The prices of this SUV landing in the market with the tag of Mahindra Thar’s rival are being claimed to be leaked.

According to media reports, the prices of Maruti Jimny have been leaked online even before the launch. Although only time will tell how much truth is there in these prices, but these leaked reports definitely give an idea about the prices of the SUV to a great extent. The leaked document is said to be the invoice of the dealership, in which the price details of this SUV have been given.

what could be the price
According to the information, the company will offer Maruti Jimny in two trims, which include Zeta and Alpha. The SUV will come in four variants, and the leaked document claims that prices will start from Rs. 9.99 lakhs for the Zeta MT variant. Whereas for the top variant Alpha AT, customers will have to spend Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). However, how much truth is there in these claims will be revealed very soon, the company will reveal the prices of this SUV next month.

How is Maruti Jimny
The five-door version of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been introduced, the SUV was already available in the three-door version in the global market. Sporting a traditional boxy design and muscular stance with a spare wheel mounted on the tail-gate, the SUV is built on a ladder frame chassis. It has LED headlamp with washer (water washable). At the same time, 5-slot iconic vertical grille has been given, which is decorated with chrome.

Power and Performance
In Maruti Suzuki Jimny, the company has used a 1.5-liter K-Series Natural Aspirated petrol engine, which generates strong power of 103 bhp and torque of 134 Nm. This engine is mated to 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Apart from this, it has been given four-wheel drive (4X4) All Grip Pro system, which the company claims, this technology improves the SUV’s offroading capabilities.

The company says that the interiors of the JIMNY have been given a minimalistic design to avoid distractions so that the focus remains on the driver. Hence, the cabin is decked out in black while the silver accents highlight some of the essentials expected. The dashboard and center console have been designed in such a way that the driver can access essential features without wasting time. Apart from this, the company has included the premium surround sound system of Arkmiz in this SUV.
