Mann Ki Baat 100th Episode: To celebrate 100 episodes of Mann Ki Baat, a sand figure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 100 radios has been made at Puri beach in Odisha. Sudarshan Patnaik has made 8 feet high sand art with about seven tons of sand. He also made a sand sculpture of the Prime Minister from 100 sand radios. Students from his sand art school joined him to complete the sculpture. Earlier, I made some sand sculptures in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on different occasions, Patnaik said. Apart from this, sand sculptures on radio were also made on occasions like World Radio Day.
First broadcast on 3 October 2014, Modi’s flagship radio address will complete 100 episodes on 30 April. Till date, the Padma winning artist has participated in more than 60 international sand art competitions and festivals across the globe and won several awards. He always tries to create awareness on various social issues through his sand art. His sand arts are appreciated by the United Nations, WHO and UN Environment.

Special preparation to make the 100th episode special
Let us tell you that special preparations are going on to make the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat historic. The 100th episode will be telecast live in about 4 lakh centers across the country. The target has been set to create a record of maximum number of people listening to this radio broadcast simultaneously.
The BJP, the ruling party at the Centre, has directed all its MPs and MLAs to make special arrangements to listen to the telecast of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. At the same time, all the MPs will listen to this special broadcast along with about 1,000 people.
The 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat will be aired on April 30, but a day before that i.e. on April 29, all MPs will hold a press conference in their respective areas regarding the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme.
