Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the countrymen today (April 30, 2023) through the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. During this, he described ‘Mann Ki Baat’ as ‘Prasad Ki Thal’ and said that he thanks the people of the country for the success of this programme. The PM said that the issues discussed in this program became a ‘people’s movement’.
He spoke to Sunil Jaglan, who started the Selfie With Daughter campaign. Also thanked him. Sunil’s campaign came into limelight in the midst of PM’s ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign. After this people eagerly stepped forward and the pictures of the daughters started being proudly shared on social media.
PM Modi spoke on women power in the program. After this, he also called Manzoor Ahmed in the middle of the program, whose pencil slate work was once anonymous and the PM promoted it by mentioning it in ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Manzoor Ahmed told that because of PM Modi, today his work has got recognition at the grassroots level. They are able to provide employment to more than 200 people. We are ready to provide employment to 200 additional people by expanding this work even further.
He spoke to Vijay Lakshmi while talking about ‘Vocal for Local’ and wished her good luck for her work with Lotus Fibre. The PM told how the society was made aware from clay toys to dogs and it was decided that there would be no bargaining with small shopkeepers.
Talking to Pradeep, who started the campaign of Healing Himalayas, the PM asked about his campaign. Pradeep told how a lot has changed after 2020. After his campaign is discussed in Mann Ki Baat, people themselves come forward, join him, support him in the campaign to clean the Himalayas.
PM also discussed about tourism in this program. He said how to visit 15 places in India before going out. In this program, the UNESCO DG asked the PM about the preservation of education and culture, to which the PM said that this has been the tradition of the country, whoever is working in this direction is highly commendable.
