Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a tour of Karnataka where he is continuously engaged in rallying for the assembly elections. The PM addressed his third election public meeting in Belur in the state today i.e. on Sunday (April 30), during which he lashed out at the opposition party Congress and called Karnataka’s regional party JD(S) the B team of the Congress.
PM Modi said in his address that Congress and its B team are also daydreaming, they want to somehow win 15-20 seats and want their share of the looted public money. He said that a war of appearance goes on between the Congress and the JD(S). Congress and JDS are together on every issue in WWF, Noorakushti, even in Parliament. Modi told the public that every vote given by you to JDS will go to the account of Congress and voting for Congress means putting brakes on development.
JDS a family private limited party
Belur district of Karnataka is considered to be a bastion of Congress and JD(S), where in this rally, Modi said, ‘The Congress unit of Karnataka has to serve the family sitting in Delhi. Whether to decide CM, candidate, or to take any decision, one has to ask the family of Delhi. He further said that the one who bows down before the Congress family, only he stays in the Congress. PM has also termed JDS as a private limited party of a family.
He said that this time Karnataka has decided to end the decades-old coalition politics. Congress and JDS are symbols of instability. Congress-ruled states are known for infighting among their leaders. Talking about the Congress government in the states of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, he said that the people there are fed up with their rule, there has been no development.
abuse before elections, then unite
In Belur, Karnataka, PM Modi said that Congress and JDS in Karnataka are just pretending to be against each other. Referring to the 2018 assembly elections, the PM said that during that time the leaders of both the parties were abusing each other, but as soon as the elections were over, both aligned with each other.
The PM said, ‘Congress and JDS are together on every issue even in Parliament. That’s why the vote given to JDS will go to the account of Congress and voting for Congress means putting brakes on development.
The PM said that JDS is completely a private limited party of a family. The big faces of this party are spending all their energy to settle their families. Taking a dig at the JD(S), Modi said that most of the headlines related to this party are about which member of the family has the upper hand and there is never any discussion about what agenda they have for the people.
BJP keeps the interests of farmers paramount
Modi said that during the Congress governments, farmers were cheated in the name of loan waiver. While talking about the farmer, he said that the BJP government has given support to even the smallest farmer with the Kisan Samman Nidhi. The BJP government here adds 4 thousand more per farmer to the money sent by the central government.
He said, ‘This government keeps the interests of the farmers paramount. Our effort is to increase the income of farmers and reduce the cost of farming. Today, the price of urea in the international market is more than Rs 50 per kg. At the same time, the BJP government is providing urea to every farmer at the rate of Rs 5-6 per kg.
