According to the Economic Times report, Mukesh Ambani’s company Viacom 18 has signed a multi-year deal with HBO and Warner. Under this, the content of Warner Brothers and HBO can be seen on the Jio Cinema app from now on. Users will get access to the new season of ‘House of the Dragon’ as well as the new series being made on ‘Harry Potter’ only on Jio Cinema.
Exclusive deal with Jio
According to media reports, the deal between Warner and Viacom 18 is an exclusive deal, which means that the shows of Warner Bros. Production House will not be available on any OTT platform other than Jio Cinema. According to the deal, Warner can remove its content from Amazon Prime Video or Disney + Hotstar soon.
Paid subscription may be applicable for Jio Cinema
