Indian Army: The first batch of women officers were inducted in the Artillery Regiment of the Indian Army. Five women officers today (April 29) joined the Regiment of Artillery after successfully completing their training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai.
Expressing pride on the occasion, Adosh Kumar, DG Artillery, Chennai said, “It is an important occasion for the Regiment Artillery to welcome women officers with us. We have full faith in their abilities and are sure that they will do very well in their respective future careers including Command Artillery Unit.
