Mann ki Baat All Episodes: 100 episodes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ are being completed on 30 April. PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 30 August 2015 – Episode 11
PM Modi started his talk by wishing the countrymen on Onam and Raksha Bandhan. Apart from the Jan Dhan Yojana, Modi also talked to the farmers about the Land Acquisition Act. He said- I am ready for any suggestion in the interest of the farmers. PM mentioned many people who gave suggestions for improvement in the field of education. Modi also talked about ending the interview process in small jobs. With this, the poor will not have to run here and there for recommendation. The PM mentioned the Mahajan brothers, two brothers from Nashik, who brought laurels to the country by winning the Race Across America with the help of tribals.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 20 September 2015 – Episode 12
PM Modi praised the suggestions of the people coming from all over the country in the program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The PM said – One day I simply said ‘selfie with daughter’ and a movement was formed in no time. Similarly, I talked about ‘Incredible India’ and people from every corner of the country sent amazing pictures. Even the government did not know about many heritage sites. Modi said that on one of my calls retired persons, even widowed women gave up their gas subsidy for the poor. This is a silent revolution in a way. Modi narrated the message of Alwar’s Pawan Acharya, in which he called for lighting more and more earthen lamps on Diwali. PM appreciated this suggestion. Modi also spoke on cleanliness drive, use of khadi, handloom and weavers.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 25 October 2015 – Episode 13
The PM referred to a letter sent by girl students of a school in Chittoor in Kerala. He said- These girls have made a picture of Bharat Mata on a very big cloth with their thumb impression. Initially I was surprised but there is a symbolic message hidden in it. These girls are running a public awareness mission for organ donation. He also asked me to appeal people for organ donation in ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Apart from the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, the PM also mentioned the programs of different media houses regarding the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Also announced that there will be no interview for Group ‘D’, Group ‘C’ and Group ‘B’ non-gazetted posts. Modi also spoke on ‘Gold Monetization Scheme’.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 29 November 2015 – Episode 14
PM Modi mentioned Lakhwinder Singh of Jalandhar. While narrating the message of Lakhwinder, he talked about promoting organic farming. Also said that burning straw in the fields not only destroys the micro-organisms of the soil, but also causes a lot of pollution in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. The PM praised Lakhwinder Singh’s message. The PM also talked about training the farmers for organic farming. Giving the example of banana farming, Modi told that small experiments can become a source of income for the farmers. The PM mentioned Noorjahan of Kanpur, who is illuminating the homes of the poor by making lanterns with solar energy. Noor Jehan, like her name, is spreading light with her work. Modi also spoke on Mudra Yojana, Climate Change and Global Warming.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 27th December 2015 – Episode 15
In ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Modi talked about the tourism sector. Reciting the message of Ganesh of Pune, he said that he has urged to keep the tourist places clean. In fact, when a guest is about to come to our house, we clean our houses. Along with this, Modi mentioned Dilip Singh Malviya, an elderly artisan living in Bhojpura village of Sehore (MP). Malviya does not take wages in exchange for building toilets in the village. He has built more than 100 toilets free of cost. Apart from this, Modi also spoke on ‘Start-up India, Stand-up India’. He said that this campaign should not be spread only in some cities but in every corner of India.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 31st January 2016 – Episode 16
In the first ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of 2016, PM talked about Khadi while remembering Sardar Patel. He said- Sardar Patel used to say, India’s independence lies in Khadi only. Modi talked for a long time on the utility of Khadi. Apart from this, the PM praised Haryana and Gujarat for the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign. Modi spoke to the farmers regarding the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Apart from this, the PM encouraged the people regarding the small startups being started across the country. He said- Your bravery is our inspiration. Modi praised local artists for adding beauty to the cleanliness drive and creating beautiful paintings at stations across the country.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 28 February 2016 – Episode 17
Modi talked about the stress faced by parents worrying about their children’s exams. He said that if we change our way of looking at the examination, then perhaps we can become worry free. The PM narrated the message sent by Sachin Tendulkar, in which he said that keeping your own expectations and targets, just keep your thinking positive. God will definitely give you good results. Apart from this, the PM encouraged the students through positive messages from chess master Vishwanathan Anand, Morari Bapu, scientist CNR Rao. Modi also motivated the student by giving examples of great mathematicians Srinivasa Namanujan and JK Rowling.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 27th March 2016 – Episode 18
PM started ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with sports. He said that along with cricket, the interest of youth in hockey and football is also increasing. In 2017, we will host the FIFA U-17 Football World Cup. The advantage of this will be that an infrastructure will be ready here. The focus will also be on the necessary facilities for the game. Apart from this, the PM also talked about eco-friendly tourism. Along with this, he made the students take a pledge to add one new thing or the other during the summer vacations. These can be any skill like swimming, cycling, painting, typing. Apart from this, Modi also appealed to make water harvesting a mass movement.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 24th April 2016 – Episode 19
Along with farming, PM Modi talked about the cropping pattern of Hivare Bazar village located in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. He said that the people of this village gave up such crops, which used to take more water. Then he started cultivating fruits and vegetables that require less water. He took many initiatives like sprinkler, drip irrigation, water harvesting and the water crisis in the village got resolved. In Gorwa Gram Panchayat of Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh, farmers started the campaign of Farm Pond. This increased the ground water level. The PM gave a message to run a campaign to save water in every village. The PM also made people aware about the dirt found in the rivers.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 22nd May 2016 – Episode 20
Expressing concern over the environment, the PM said that the fire that broke out in the forests in Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu-Kashmir and the Himalayas in the past was due to dry leaves and our carelessness regarding the environment. That’s why it becomes the responsibility of all of us to save forests and water. Apart from this, the PM also talked about Maharashtra’s Jalyukt Shivir Abhiyan, Chhattisgarh’s Loksuraj Jalsuraj Abhiyan, Madhya Pradesh’s Balram Talab Yojana, Uttar Pradesh’s Jal Bachao Abhiyan and Kalyani Yojana to save wells in Karnataka. Along with this, Modi also called for creating a ‘cashless society’. Describing the power of yoga to the farmers and villagers, Modi also explained the recipe of staying healthy through it.
