Moong dal is eaten in the form of sprouts, halwa, khichdi etc. Apart from all this, due to the presence of more fiber, the absorption of carbohydrates will also be delayed, so it will not allow the glucose to increase rapidly. In this situation, moong dal is also beneficial for diabetes patients.
Under what circumstances does it cause damage?
Dr. Rasika Mathur says that eating too much of anything causes harm. Since moong dal contains a lot of protein, eating it in large quantities over a long period of time may harm some people. By the way, it does not have any special side effects. People who have the problem of gas and bloating, if they eat raw moong dal then it can increase the problem of gas and bloating. Apart from this, according to the news of Times Now, people who have uric acid problem, they can be harmed by eating whole pulses. This increases the risk of formation of purines. Purine breaks down to become uric acid. At the same time, it can also cause stomach problems. Apart from this, eating more moong dal can also increase the risk of dizziness, nausea and diarrhea. Although Dr. Rasika Mathur does not confirm these things. He said that there is no such research on this subject, on the basis of which it can be said that diarrhea is caused by moong dal.
