African Woman Found Dead: A case of murder of a woman of African origin has come to light in Delhi’s Maidan Garhi area. According to the police, after committing the murder, the accused wrapped the woman’s body in a bedsheet and hid it in a box inside the bed. The foul smell of the dead body spread so much that the people of the neighborhood informed the police about the matter.
At present, the body of the woman has been sent for postmortem. Also, the Embassy of Nigeria has been informed in this regard. Police say that in the flat where the body of the woman was found, a young man of Nigerian origin lived as a tenant. This person is missing since last few days. This is also the reason why the needle of suspicion is on him. Currently it is being searched.

According to DCP South District Chandan Chowdhary, on Friday (April 28) at 11:21 a.m. a PCR call was received that a very strong foul smell was coming from Shriram Apartment Maidangarhi Extension flat number D-4. No one has been seen in this flat since 3-4 days. No one is even opening the gate of the flat. When the police reached the spot, they found that the flat was locked.
On enquiry, it was found that the name of the owner of this flat is Ravindra Sehrawat, who lives in Chirag Delhi. The police called Ravindra Sehrawat, along with the locksmith was also called. When the police entered inside the flat, a very strong foul smell was coming from inside. A dead body of a woman wrapped in a bedsheet was found in a box inside the bed in a room.
Nigeria was given on rent to a young man two years ago
According to the police, the owner of the flat, Ravindra Sehrawat, has told that he had given this house in December 2021 to a Nigerian youth named Obinoj Alexander on rent of Rs 12,000 per month. Who was the woman and where did she live, it is being ascertained. At present, the police is trying to trace Obinoj, who has rented the flat. Police is investigating the matter by registering a case of murder. For this, the footage of the CCTV camera installed around the spot is being scanned.

The girls living in the flat of Maidan Garhi Extension from where the dead body of an African-origin woman has been recovered, say that the Nigerian tenant who lived in this flat was not a good man. Supriya, who lives in the flat below this flat, says that the man used to tease her while coming and going. Once forcibly entered his flat. After this, he had talked about complaining to the police. Not only this, about 15 to 20 days ago there was a lot of sound of quarrel coming from this flat.
Supriya further told that if we talk about foul smell, it started coming from 4 to 5 days ago, which was not tolerable. Someone downstairs called the police. When the flat was opened, it was found that a female dead body was found from inside. We doubt that we have seen that girl here before. She has been coming to this flat before.
