Kejriwal Sheesh Mahal: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is embroiled in controversies these days regarding the renovation of the CM residence. BJP had claimed that Kejriwal had spent Rs 45 crore in renovation, while Congress leader Alka Lamba also raised questions and said that he wasted public money in the decoration of the government house.
Alka Lamba said, “CM Arvind Kejriwal is in the circle of questions, perhaps that is why he is silent. The words and attitude of this party which came out against corruption from Ramlila Maidan changed while reaching power.” The Congress leader said, he (CM Kejriwal) had said at Ramlila Maidan that if we come to power, we will not take a palatial bungalow like Sheila Dixit, we will live in a two-room house. But now the CM of Delhi has spent not Rs 1-2 crores but Rs 45 crores in the decoration of his official residence. Alka Lamba said in a harsh manner, this is the same Aam Aadmi Party whose two leaders are behind bars for corruption. If there is even an iota of morality, then come in front of the country and say that I have lied to you, misled you and apologize to you.

Earlier, BJP had alleged that CM Kejriwal has spent Rs 45 crore on his official residence in the name of renovation. However, in response to this, the Aam Aadmi Party said that several incidents of wear and tear had come to the fore at the CM’s official residence, due to which renovation work has been done in it. This is not his private residence, but it is a government residence on which this work has been done. At the same time, seeing the matter gaining momentum, now the Deputy Governor has also asked the Chief Secretary for an inquiry report in this whole matter within 15 days.
‘8 lakh screens?’ – Manoj Tiwari
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari challenged Arvind Kejriwal and said, if Kejriwal has the guts, then let the camera of ABP News enter his house and let the truth come in front of the people. Manoj Tiwari compared the Rs 44.78 crore house in renovation to his own house and said, what is it like in Arvind Kejriwal’s house? Sofas worth lakhs, curtains worth 8 lakhs, the curtains in our house are worth 250. Which monarchy is this? Which is the mindset? He said, CM Kejriwal is doing the work of throwing dust in the eyes of the public. Their destiny is so dirty that when the Yamuna had to be cleaned, they were putting things worth crores in their house. How did you get a TV worth 20 lakhs? Manoj Tiwari said, Arvind Kejriwal was building Sheeshmahal when people were dying of oxygen.
