PM Modi Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to air the 100th episode of his show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday (April 30). Veteran Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has gheraoed PM Modi in view of his programme. He has described PM’s show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ as ‘Maun Ki Baat’. Tweeting on his official Twitter handle, he has raised questions on the BJP state governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Many preparations have been made by the BJP regarding PM Modi’s show. Before the telecast of his show, PM Modi appealed to the people through tweet to make the program successful by listening to his ‘Mann Ki Baat’. At the same time, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh while talking about the situation in the country has put a question mark on him.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ not ‘Maun Ki Baat’!
Jairam Ramesh wrote in his tweet, ‘The 100th day of Mann Ki Baat is being celebrated with great fanfare. But it is a double engine like Karnataka on important issues like China, Adani, rising economic inequality, rising inflation of essential commodities, terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, insult to women wrestlers, non-fulfilment of promises made to farmer organizations, so-called corruption. It is a matter of silence for the state governments. IIM Rohtak did some principled studies on the effects of Mann Ki Baat when the academic credentials of its director were questioned by the Ministry of Education itself.’
Common people are also giving a lot of reaction to this tweet of Jairam Ramesh. A Twitter user wrote, ‘When will you hear ‘Mann Ki Baat’ about the atrocities on crores of unemployed youth, farmers, jawans and women of the country?’ Significantly, on Sunday, PM Modi is going to complete the 100th episode of his special show Mann Ki Baat, for which special arrangements have been made.
