Atiq Ahmed Murder: As the investigation of the Atiq-Ashraf murder case is progressing, new revelations are happening in it. Now the police is investigating the double cross in the double murder. Actually, in the investigation of the police, it has been revealed about the mafia Atiq that he had hatched a conspiracy to attack himself in custody. Atiq Ahmed wanted to increase his security by having an attack on him. Ateeq used to think that if the drama of the attack worked properly, neither the gang would be able to kill him nor the police would encounter him. Amidst this revelation, the police is probing a theory that whether someone double-crossed Atiq.
According to the information, the close friend whom Atiq chose to get himself attacked was Guddu Muslim. According to sources, Guddu Muslim had also contacted some miscreants of Purvanchal to attack Atiq’s convoy. In the investigation of the police, it has been revealed that while bringing Sabarmati to Prayagraj, Atiq had fixed the spot of fake attack on the way or somewhere in Prayagraj itself.
So, has the double cross become excessive?
Now the police is probing whether Lavlesh, Arun and Sunny were selected only for the fake attack on Atiq and someone from Atiq’s gang double-crossed the mafia regarding this attack. Somewhere a traitor from Atiq’s gang instead of fake attack on Atiq, had given contract to kill both of them directly. The needle of this suspicion is pointing towards Guddu Muslim.
To whom did Atiq signal before dying?
Moments before his murder, Atiq Ahmed is seen waving his head to someone when he gets out of the police jeep. Its video also surfaced. The question is, for whom was this gesture meant? Was Atiq pointing out to those who attacked him or those shooters were managed from somewhere else and they double crossed Atiq.
All three accused of attack on Atiq arrested
Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were gunned down outside Prayagraj’s Colvin Hospital on the night of 15 April. The police arrested the three attackers, Lavlesh, Arun and Sunny, from the spot. All three are currently in custody. Police has also interrogated him in remand, but Atiq’s death still remains a mystery.
Atiq had got himself attacked earlier also
In the year 2002, Atiq got himself attacked with a bomb while appearing in the court. Later it was revealed that he himself had got this attack done, but no one had thought that Atiq, who was another name of fear in Prayagraj for 44 years, would have such an end.
