Atiq Ahmed-Ashraf Murder Case: Police probing the murder case of mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf are looking for two important characters besides Shaista Parveen. These include Atiq’s gunner and Mundi Pasi, a criminal woman.
In fact, SIT sources say that Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen had met Mundi Pasi, a woman from Cachar, before the murder of Umesh Pal. Mundi Pasi Shaista is believed to be Parveen’s helper. After the murder of Raju Pal in 2005, when Atiq Ahmed was arrested by the police and sent to jail, then the gunner was absconding, after which the gunner was dismissed by the UP police.
At the same time, in the Atiq-Ashraf murder case, the judicial custody of the three accused Lavlesh Tiwari, Sunny and Arun Maurya has been extended for 14 days. The court has sent all the three accused to judicial custody till May 12.
