Mukhtar Ansari In Jail: Saturday (April 29) in Uttar Pradesh was recorded as a major achievement in the efforts being made by the Yogi government to establish the rule of law in the state. Mafia Ansari Brothers, who were once synonymous with terror in UP, have reached behind bars along with their family today. Mukhtar Ansari has been sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh, while his brother Afzal Ansari has been sentenced to 4 years’ imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh, in a years-old gangster case, due to Yogi government’s effective lobbying against the mafia. .
As soon as the sentence was pronounced, Afzal Ansari’s MP has also gone away. The result of Yogi government’s effective lobbying in the court is that the criminals of the state are being punished one after the other and the rule of law is being established in the state. As soon as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took charge of the state, he started taking strict action against crime and criminals under the zero tolerance policy in the state. The result of this is in front of all of us that today the state has become completely fear free from mafia and criminals. It may be known that for the first time in the Yogi government, Mafia Mukhtar has been punished even before this.
Fear of law shown on Ansari Brothers
Let us inform that Mukhtar’s son Abbas Ansari is already behind bars in the money laundering case. Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afsha Ansari, younger son Umar Ansari are also trapped in many cases and are currently absconding while Mukhtar’s daughter-in-law Nikhat Ansari is in jail. These are the same big mafia who used to openly live like a king in the earlier governments and used to do their atrocities on the people of the state fearlessly.
When these mafia used to roam freely, it seemed that the ‘road of law’ ends even before reaching its threshold. There was a board in the mind of the people. In front of them, the limit of words like ‘police, court, waste and justice’ used to end. People had started considering mafia as a ‘synonym’ of honorable, but the Yogi government told the mafia its rightful place. For the first time, the fear of government and law was visible on the faces of these mafia brothers.
this is the case
Seven people, including the then BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai, were killed in Ghazipur in the year 2005 at Basaniya Chatti of Muhammadabad police station. Afzal Ansari and Mukhtar Ansari were booked under the Gangster Act in 2007. Since then Afzal Ansari is out on bail. Ghazipur’s MP MLA court sentenced Mafia Mukhtar Ansari and Afzal Ansari, convicting them in almost 15 years old case of Gangster Act. It may be known that earlier the hearing of this case was to be held on April 15, but due to the judge being on leave, the next date was fixed for April 29.
