Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023: In view of the assembly elections 2023 in Karnataka, campaigning in the state has gained momentum. In this episode, Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah has attacked the PM for his comments on the Congress during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s three public rallies in Karnataka on Saturday (April 29).
In his rally in the state, Modi took a jibe at the grand old party, describing the Congress rule as “corrupt period” and the BJP rule as “Amrit period”. Referring to the PM’s statement, Congress leader Siddaramaiah asked Modi on Twitter if he did not remember “Adani and Ambani” and even looked at the chief, who was accompanied by ministers and other leaders on the dais. who are facing many cases of corruption.
Lingayat treated with “use and throw”

The Congress leader said, “People have seen how the BJP used B.S. Yeddyurappa was forced to go to jail during his first term.
BJP has abused Gandhi family many times
The Congress leader said that Yeddyurappa, this time by changing again, ill-treated a Lingayat community in the state and his own son, was blackmailed through central agencies. He accused the BJP of denying tickets to several Lingayat leaders like Jagadish Shettar and Laxman Savadi, leaving the Lingayat community with no other leader to lead.
He attacked Modi, saying that he had lied about the “achievements” of the BJP government and that the Congress had abused him 91 times. Siddaramaiah asked, “Haven’t your party leaders including you abused our party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi?”
Adding to the derogatory manner in which the Gandhi family has been addressed in the past, he asked, “Didn’t your party leader Basangouda Patil Yatnal call Sonia Gandhi Vishkanya?
