Apart from this, Aishwarya Rai’s most awaited film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ was also released, after which the condition of Salman’s film got worse.
According to the early trade report of SacNilk, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ has earned Rs 3 to 3.5 crore on its second Saturday. It’s been 9 days and the film hasn’t crossed the 100 crore mark yet. The box office collection is running at the speed of a bullock cart. Now the hope of the makers rests on the weekend i.e. second Sunday. It is expected that the film can earn well on Sunday.
PS 2 overtakes KKBKKJ
The historical drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’, directed by Mani Ratnam, has dominated the box office. The opening day of the film was also amazing and the collection on the second day was also tremendous. Salman Khan’s film proved to be a fuss in front of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’. In front of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ could not pull the audience to the theatres.
On the second Saturday, where the business of Salman Khan’s film was very bad, PS 2 earned a splash. According to the early trade report of Saknilk, the box office collection of PS2 on Saturday stood at Rs 24 crore.
Not only this, due to PS2, Salman’s film also suffered a setback on Friday. The film did a business of 2 crores on Friday, while PS 2 had earned Rs 24 crores, according to the report of Saknilk.
