Air India intends to strengthen the digital system.

Air India on Monday said it has made an initial investment of $200 million to modernize the airline’s digital system. The company said that as part of the modernization, ChatGPT powered chatbot and many other initiatives will be implemented. The airline has also started a conversion program called ‘Vihaan.ai’. Air India said in a statement that significant progress has been made in its efforts to modernize its digital systems. Many initiatives have already been completed and work on many is in progress.

The company has already invested around $200 million in new digital systems, digital engineering services and a skilled digital workforce.
According to the statement, the company expects to maintain this pace of investment during the next five years. Under this, from traditional digital techniques to modern artificial intelligence, state-of-the-art technology will be implemented.
In addition, Air India is also looking at adopting emerging trends such as the application of quantum computing.
For better customer engagement, the airline is working on modernization of website and mobile app, user-friendly customer information system, ChatGPT powered chatbot and state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system.
