Afghanistan: After the Taliban took over, the condition of women in Afghanistan is very bad. In the coming days, strict rules and laws are being made regarding women. Meanwhile, now a new decree has been issued for Afghan women, according to which women will not be able to work for the UN. For this Taliban has banned Afghan women. There was a protest in Kabul on Saturday regarding this.
Afghan women rally in Kabul on Saturday, ahead of a UN summit next week. He demanded that other countries refrain from formally recognizing the Taliban regime. He mentioned about the violation of women’s rights happening in the country. During this, a group of 25 women also raised slogans. However, this performance did not last long. In about 10 minutes, these women left after saying their words.
UN is in favor of women
Let us tell you that more than 90 countries in the United Nations have given approval to immediately end the ban imposed on women in Afghanistan. A special resolution was passed for this. The resolution also called for the full, equal, meaningful and safe participation of women and girls in Afghanistan.
Significantly, since the Taliban returned to power in 2021, restrictions on women’s rights are being imposed. In such a situation, women protest against the government, but they are treated badly even during this time. They are either separated by beating with sticks. Or else they are taken into custody. It may be known that since the Taliban returned to power in 2021, no country has considered the government as legitimate.
The previous Taliban government, which ruled from 1996 to 2001, was formally recognized by only three countries – Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Women have been facing restrictions since the Taliban government came to Afghanistan. Because of which Taliban is being condemned all over the world. However, there is not much difference in the health of the Taliban.
