Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat (MOHAN BHAGWAT) has given a big statement in view of the Ramcharitmanas controversy. Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said on the caste system that the caste was not created by God but by the pundits of the caste. He said that God has always said that for me all are one, there is no caste. But the pundits made a classification which was wrong.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief said that Vivek, Chaitanya are all one in the country, there is no difference, only opinions differ. The Sangh chief made this statement during a program organized on the birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas (Sant Rohidas) in Mumbai.
Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said that others have taken advantage of the division of our society. Taking advantage of this, attacks took place in our country and people from outside took advantage. He said that you have to understand, our livelihood is our responsibility towards the society. When everything is done for the community, how come some are high, some are low, some are different.
‘Work according to religion’
Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said that I got an opportunity to speak on Sant Rohidas Jayanti. Saint Rohidas said, do your work, do it according to religion. Connect the whole society, work for the progress of the society, this is the religion. It is not a religion to take care of oneself by thinking only about one’s self and that is why the big people of the society became the devotees of Saint Rohidas.
Hindus and Muslims are all equal – Bhagwat
Mohan Bhagwat said that “Hindus and Muslims are all equal”, Shivaji Maharaj wrote to Aurangzeb after the destruction of Kashi’s temple that whether Hindu or Muslim, we are all children of the same God, if you don’t accept it , then we will have to fight with you, don’t look at society and religion with hatred, be virtuous, follow religion”
