Now amidst those big promises, a report of ADR (All attribute to Association of Democratic Reforms) has come out regarding the first phase of Gujarat elections. It has been told in that report that in the first phase, the most tainted people have been given tickets by the Aam Aadmi Party.
How many tainted were given tickets?
In the first phase, AAP has fielded 32 candidates who have criminal cases against them. Congress has fielded 31 tainted candidates and BJP has fielded 14 such candidates. Here also there are 26 candidates of AAP who have serious criminal cases against them, 18 such candidates of Congress have come forward and 11 candidates of BJP are also included in this list. It has also been revealed in the ADR report that cases have been registered against 9 candidates for crimes against women, 3 have cases related to murder, 12 are said to have tried to commit murder.
For this reason, red alert has also been declared in some constituencies. In all the areas where 3 or more such candidates are standing against whom criminal cases are registered, that area is being kept in the red alert category. In the first phase, there are 25 such constituencies which have been kept in the red alert category.
How much money, who is the richest?
Information about the economic background of the candidates has also been revealed in the ADR report. In the first phase, 73 candidates have stood whose assets are 5 crores or more. There are 77 candidates whose assets have been between 2 to 5 crores. There are also 125 candidates whose assets are between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 2 crore. At the same time, 343 candidates with assets less than 10 lakh have appeared. It is being told that out of 788 candidates who are standing in the election field, 211 are crorepatis. Talking according to political parties, there are 79 candidates of BJP whose assets are more than one crore. 65 such candidates of Congress have come forward whose assets are more than one crore. AAP’s 33 candidates are included in this list.
Who stands where in the matter of property?
The three candidates who have declared maximum assets have also been disclosed towards ADR. No candidate of Aam Aadmi Party is included in this list. Ramesh Bhai Tilala, who became the BJP candidate from Rajkot South, has declared assets worth more than 175 crores. He is the richest candidate in the first phase. On the second number in this list is Indranil Rajyaguru, the candidate from Rajkot East of Congress, on whose behalf assets worth more than 162 crores have been declared. BJP candidate at number three is Jawarbhai Chavda whose assets have been more than 130 crores.
