Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the Global Investors Summit will accelerate the pace of industrial development in UP. This will bring international investors to the state.

He said, when the SP government was in power, investors had fled the state because the environment here was very harsh. But now investors from all over the world are coming to the Global Investor Summit. Efforts are being made to bring an investment of Rs 10 lakh crore in the state.

Opposition targeted

However, the opposition has targeted these investors’ summits and said that the government should be asked how many such summits were successful in the past.

SP spokesman Abdul Hasan Chand said that the government should tell how much investment came in UP in the last Invest Summit. Such opportunities should be a source of income for the youth, but when crime is prevalent in the state, it is difficult for any investor to come here.

He said that extortion is being done from the businessmen. The policeman is killing the businessman in the hotel. In such a situation, from where will the investment come in UP.
