Now Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has made a big allegation against Imran. Khwaja Asif has claimed that Imran Khan has ‘sold’ the gold medal he received from India. Asif said that Imran had received these medals when he used to play cricket.
Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan is on target of the government these days for selling expensive gifts. During his visit to Saudi Arabia in 2018, Imran Khan sold several other priceless gifts including the expensive graph wristwatch he had received as a gift for profit.
According to reports, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has been quoted as saying that during a television program, Khwaja Asif said that Imran Khan sold a gold medal, which he had received from India.
Imran Khan became the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018. He had received expensive gifts from the rulers of Arab countries during his visits. He had also received valuable gifts from heads of states of many European countries, which were deposited by Imran in Toshakhana. But Imran Khan later bought them from Toshakhana at cheap prices and sold them at a huge profit. His government had given legal permission to this whole process.
