New Delhi: Chairman Emeritus and Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata, former Supreme Court Justice KT Thomas and former Lok Sabha deputy speaker Karia Munda have been made trustees of the PM CARES Fund. At the same time, some other celebrities of the country have been nominated in the advisory group.
Let us inform that a day earlier, a meeting of the Board of Trustees was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with newly appointed members. The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that PM Modi has welcomed the trustees to become an integral part of the PM Cares Fund.

Former Supreme Court judge Justice KT Thomas, former deputy speaker Karia Munda and industrialist Ratan Tata have been included as trustees in the PM Cares Fund. At the same time, former CAG Rajiv Mehrishi, former Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy, Indicorps and Piramal Foundation’s former CEO Anand Shah have been nominated to the advisory board.
