Priyanka Chopra said these things
Priyanka has shared a brief video of Amanda speaking at the event. In this video Priyanka said that we are meeting today at a crucial point in our world at a time like this. Global solidarity is more important than ever. The world grapples with conflict, anger, poverty and livelihoods from the devastating effects of pandemics like the climate crisis and COVID-19 as conflict, anger, poverty and displacement, hunger, inequalities erode the foundations of a more just world. Which we have fought for so long. As we all know that all is not well with us. These crises did not come by chance. They can be fixed with a plan. We have that plan. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is a to-do list for the world.
education is very important
Priyanka also said that in the very second moment I had the privilege of participating in the Transforming Education Summit. It’s hard enough to believe that about 2/3 of children in low-middle and high-income countries can’t read and understand a simple story. The system has failed. As the US Secretary of Education has put it very bluntly. Education is the great equalizer. If we keep doing what we have done, we will get what we have been getting.
