Mumbai: A special court in Mumbai has given an additional 90 days to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to file a chargesheet in the Amravati murder case. The NIA had sought time to file the chargesheet in the court. Please tell that on June 21, pharmacist Umesh Kolhe was murdered in Amravati. Ten people have been arrested in this case so far. Let us inform that in this case, the NIA has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh to the person who gives information for the arrest of the wanted accused Shaheem Ahmed Firoz Ahmed. Ahmed is absconding for two months.

The NIA had on July 2 registered the case on the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs under sections 120-B, 302, 153-A and 153-B of the Indian Penal Code and provision of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Significantly, Umesh Kolhe was stabbed to death for supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. After the incident, there was criticism of Maharashtra Police and administration across the country. The police is preparing a charge sheet on the basis of the evidence in this case.
