In this, there are 13 ministers (33 percent) from the M-Y community, while not a single minister was made from the Kanu, Teli, Kayastha, Kalwar, Kanyakubj Brahmin community.
Patna: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Sushil Kumar Modi has given a big statement on cabinet expansion in Bihar. He said that Nitish Kumar ensured the return of the dreadful days in Bihar by flooding the mahagathbandhan government’s cabinet with musclemen. He said that MLAs like Surendra Yadav, Lalit Yadav, Ramakant Yadav and Kartikeya Kumar were made ministers, in whose name people tremble in the area. He said that serious cases like Arms Act, sexual abuse, attempt to murder and kidnapping are registered against these people.
He further said that the new cabinet is completely unbalanced. In this, there are 13 ministers (33 percent) from the M-Y community, while not a single minister was made from the Kanu, Teli, Kayastha, Kalwar, Kanyakubj Brahmin community. He said that the number of Rajput and Maithil Brahmin ministers was reduced in Mahagathbandhan-2. The remaining castes were given only symbolic representation. Only two ministers of the Koiri community were made.
He said that Upendra Kushwaha, who is a claimant to the legacy of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, was absent at the time of taking oath. He said that the NDA government had made Renu Devi of the most backward society as the Deputy Chief Minister, whereas in the Grand Alliance, no backward community was made the Deputy CM. The finance department should have gone to the RJD. In spite of all these discrepancies, thanks to Lalu Prasad that he got the eldest son also made a minister to entertain the public.
