Patna: In Patna, an LPG cylinder kept on a boat parked on the banks of river Ganga exploded. Four people have died in the incident while several others have been injured. The incident took place in the Maner area of the capital. It is being told that there were about 20 passengers in the boat.
According to the information, the explosion occurred after a leak in the cylinder near Maner Ganga Ghat in Danapur when the sailor was cooking food on the boat. At present, relief and rescue operations are being carried out with the help of local people. On the other hand, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
Four people were killed and over 20 were injured when an LPG cylinder exploded in a motorboat in the middle of river Ganga in Patna’s Maner area, an official said. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital in Maner. It is being told that motorboats are commonly used to transport sand. Most of the boats in this area are run by sand mafia.
