Bhopal: The monsoon season has started once again in Madhya Pradesh and many systems have become active in the state. The maximum effect of rain is being seen in the capital Bhopal, where it is raining heavily since late night. Due to this rain, many houses have been flooded and the roads are inundated. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of rain in 12 districts.
There will be heavy rain in these districts today
According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Betul, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Ujjain, Dewas, Mandsaur and Neemuch districts. Apart from this, lightning can also fall in many districts, to avoid which people need to be alert. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, due to the formation of weather systems at different places, the monsoon has once again become active in Madhya Pradesh. Due to which the process of rain has started in some places in the districts of Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and Sagar divisions.
Rain wreaked havoc in Indore… More than 4 inches of rain fell in 24 hours
Daur city has received more than four and a half inches of rain in the last 24 hours. The weather station of Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board at Regal Tiraha received 108.25 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. From 3 pm on Friday night, strong showers started in the city and in about half an hour, three inches of rain fell in the Regal area. Heavy rain continued in Indore till 5 am. Due to this rain, the entire city was drenched and power was cut at many places.
