Dame Deborah James’s husband shares particulars of her remaining moments

Dame Deborah James’ widower, Sebastien, has revealed particulars of the most cancers campaigner and podcast host’s final moments earlier than she died.

James died in June aged 40, six years after being recognized with bowel most cancers.

During her remaining months, James was honoured with a damehood that was offered to her by the Duke of Cambridge at her household house.

James and Sebastien married in 2008 and have two kids collectively, a son named Hugo, 14, and a daughter named Eloise, 12.

An intimate funeral for James befell at St Mary’s Church in Barnes, west London on 20 July, throughout which Sebastien and Hugo had been seen carrying her coffin.

The service was attended by household and pals, together with celebrities Lorraine Kelly and Giovanna Fletcher.

Kelly later revealed that James had deliberate her personal funeral earlier than her dying.

“She is remarkable. It was beautiful, so beautiful, such a celebration of an amazing, amazing woman,” Kelly mentioned throughout an look on Good Morning Britain.
