Muharram, Raksha Bandhan, Patriot Day and weekend holidays i.e. 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th August.
New Delhi: Lenders will remain closed in different parts of India for three consecutive days from 7th August. Banks will remain closed for three days from the beginning of the second week of August. There are six bank holidays in the second week of the month. Banks in many areas of the country will remain closed on many occasions like Raksha Bandhan, Muharram. There are 18 bank holidays in August, of which one day has passed.
The Reserve Bank of India had already released the bank holidays schedule for August 2022. According to this, Muharram, Raksha Bandhan, Patriot Day and Weekend will remain closed on 8, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14 August. Banks across the country will remain closed on August 15, which is a Monday this month.
