Jam is the problem of every city
Traffic jam is a big problem in metro cities of the country including Delhi. Atul Ranjit Kumar, who lives in Burari of the capital, decided to work on road safety, road improvement. Atul, who works in the admin department in a Japanese company, started in the year 2014 when he was going to office one day. During this, speedbreakers were seen on the main roads, flyovers and roads at many places along the way. When the information was collected, it came to know that all these were made illegally without any permission and survey.
High Court ordered
To get them removed, when he got tired of going to the offices of civic agencies and doing correspondence, he filed a PIL in the Delhi High Court. Hearings were held in the court from the year 2014 to 2018. Court removes illegal speed breakers from Delhi roads. Atul says that in the last few years, they have been rebuilt in many places. They are in touch with civic agencies to get them removed.
40 Crossroads Signal Free
Later, when people started coming to Atul with their problems, he got the Guru Hanuman Society of India NGO registration done. So far, 40 major intersections including Burari, Chirag Delhi, Majnun Ka Tila, Narela etc. have been switched off red beacons and made them signal free. U-turns have been made for the movement of vehicles around these intersections. The travel time of people has reduced due to the elimination of red beacons. It has helped in reducing fuel consumption, pollution.

Due to which a desire arose in his mind to work for social service and social reform. His father died in 2014. But he took up the task of working for the betterment of the society.
