CWG 2022: Pakistan’s javelin throw athlete Arshad Nadeem and Indian star javelin throw athlete Neeraj Chopra’s friendship is in full swing. Both have been seen encouraging each other on many occasions. Meanwhile, Arshad Nadeem has given a big statement about Neeraj Chopra. Nadeem says that he is missing Neeraj Chopra in Birmingham.
Arshad Nadeem told PTI, ‘Neeraj bhai is my brother, I am missing him here. May Allah keep them healthy and give me a chance to compete with them soon. Neeraj had won a historic silver at the World Championships last month with a throw of 88.13m, with Arshad finishing fifth.

Arshad further said that ‘He is a good person, in the beginning you are a little ‘reserve’, but when you start getting to know each other then you start opening up’. We have a very good friendship, I hope he continues to perform for India and I keep doing good for my country, we both have impressed, we are like a family.
Neeraj Chopra was out due to injury
Arshad Nadeem said, ‘The way Neeraj Bhai is getting fame in your country, I have got a lot of support from my government and people, I am thankful for this’. Let us tell you that star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was ruled out of the Commonwealth Games 2022 due to injury. Indian fans were shocked by Neeraj’s exit, as he was a strong contender to win the gold medal.
