The holy month of Sawan is going on. At this time, lakhs of Shiva devotees are walking with the kanwar of pagodas. Har Har Mahadev’s cheers are resonating on the road leading to the temples. Meanwhile, there has also been news of such a son and daughter-in-law in Sultanganj of Bhagalpur, who have left for Deoghar by sitting in a bungi to fulfill the wishes of their parents. Common people are now calling him ‘Shravan Kumar’, the character described in Ramayana. Actually, his parents had expressed their desire to go to Deoghar Babadham on foot a few days ago from Chandan Kumar, a resident of Jehanabad. But, at this age, it was not easy for him to travel 105 km from Sultanganj to Babadham.
According to the information, Chandan Kumar, a resident of Jehanabad, has gone out to make pilgrimage to his parents. As Shravan Kumar in Kaliyuga, he is traveling by making him sit in Kanvad. After bathing in the Ganges at Sultanganj Ganga Ghat, Chandan and his wife Rani Devi have left for Deoghar, the city of Baba Bholenath. Everyone present on the spot was surprised to see this sight. At the same time, some police personnel also helped them in lifting the kanwar by giving support.
The front part of Bahangi is where Chandan is taken on his shoulder while his wife Rani Devi is supporting him from behind. Committed to completing this journey, Chandan says that it is a long journey, it will take time, but we will definitely make this journey successful. Here, the queen says that when the desire was expressed in the husband’s mind, then I also felt like participating in it. He said that we are happy that our mother-in-law has come out to visit Babadham and people are also giving courage to us and praising us.
Chandan’s parents also bless the son to make him strong so that his wish is fulfilled. It is noteworthy that among the 12 Jyotirlingas, there is a Babadham located in Deoghar. One lakh people come here every day in the month of Sawan to offer water. A large number of kanwariyas reach here after getting water from Sultanganj Ganga and offer water to Baba.
