Bhopal: Heavy rain continues in Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, many rivers are in spate, due to which flood situation has arisen in the low-lying areas of many districts. At the same time, the trend of monsoon has turned towards Gwalior-Chambal. Such an alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. Meanwhile, the water level of Sindh river was found to rise suddenly in Bhind on Wednesday evening. More than 50 trucks and dumpers who came to fill sand at the ghat were stranded. In view of the seriousness of the situation, the administration has banned the lifting of sand from the river from July to September.
Alert issued in Chambal division
Let us inform that the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Gwalior-Chambal division from Thursday. The Deputy Relief Commissioner has instructed the collectors to remain alert. Expressing the possibility of heavy rains in Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Datia, Guna, Ashoknagar, he has instructed the district collectors to keep a special watch on the low-lying areas.
In fact, during the last 24 hours, at most places in the districts of Rewa, Sagar, Gwalior and Chambal divisions, at many places in the districts of capital Bhopal and Indore divisions, at some places in the districts of Jabalpur division and in the districts of Shahdol, Narmadapuram and Ujjain divisions. Rain was recorded at some places.
Torrential rain expected in these districts in last 24 hours
In the districts of Rewa, Narmadapuram, Chambal and Gwalior divisions and in Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Vidisha, Burhanpur and Khandwa, the Meteorological Department has predicted 64.5 to 115.5 mm of heavy rain.
Lightning can fall with thunder
According to the Meteorological Department in the districts of Rewa, Shahdol, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Chambal and Gwalior divisions and in Mandla, Balaghat, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Burhanpur and Khandwa districts, there is a possibility of lightning with lightning.
