Amarnath Yatra: The holy Amarnath Yatra has started from today with the chants of ‘Bum-Bum Bhole’. This morning the first batch of devotees from Pahalgam left for Amarnath Yatra. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees of Bhole Bhandari on this occasion. At the same time, security forces have been deployed everywhere in the midst of the possibility of a terrorist attack.
Let us tell you that this year the Amarnath Yatra will run for 43 days. The journey that started from today will end on August 11. This year 7 to 8 lakh devotees are expected to visit Baba Barfani. Every day from Pahalgam and Baltal base camp, 10-10 thousand devotees will go to see Baba Barfani.
The first batch of pilgrims left for the holy cave of Baba Barfani. During this time there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people. It is worth noting that in the year 2019, the yatra was postponed midway in view of the abrogation of Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir by the government. At the same time, due to the Kovid-19 epidemic in the years 2020 and 2021, the yatra was not organized.
