New Delhi: England’s white ball captain Eoin Morgan announced his retirement on Tuesday. For about 16 years, he kept his passion in international cricket and finally said goodbye to it. The news of his retirement was continuously coming to the fore. It was approved on Tuesday evening.

The 35-year-old Morgan is England’s highest run-scorer as well as the most successful captain in ODI cricket. Morgan has scored 6957 runs for England in 225 ODIs with 13 centuries. Overall Morgan has 7701 runs in ODI cricket with 14 centuries.
England captaincy in 126 matches
Morgan captained England in 126 matches, winning 76 matches with a win percentage of 65.25. His most memorable moment is England’s 2019 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup title win on home soil.
successful t20 cricketer
Morgan was also a highly successful T20 International cricketer, scoring 14 fifties in 115 matches and 2458 runs at an average of 136.18. He is the most successful T20I captain in international cricket, winning 42 out of 72 matches.
