New Delhi: Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Shirsat on Friday claimed that the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) want to destroy the Shiv Sena and the same was conveyed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, but he did not heed the advice.
Claiming that Uddhav Thackeray’s office was closed to Shiv Sena leaders, Shirsat, who sided with the Eknath Shinde camp, alleged that the party MLAs repeatedly sought time to meet Uddhav, but he never met them.
Criticizing the Shiv Sena leadership, Sanjay Shirsat further alleged that no Tehsildar or any revenue officer is appointed in the Shiv Sena MLA’s constituency in consultation with the MLA.
“We complained to Uddhav Thackeray about these issues, but he did not respond,” he said.
