New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the ‘Vanyaj Bhawan’ and launched the Exports (NIRYAT) portal. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that the country is working on the journey of Citizen Centric Governance in New India for the last 8 years. Today another important step has been taken in that direction.
PM Modi said that the country is getting a new gift from both the new and modern Vyayam Bhawan as well as the export portal. Today is also the death anniversary of the country’s first Industries Minister Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. His policies, his decisions, his resolve, the fulfillment of his resolutions were very important in giving direction to independent India. Today the country is paying its humble tribute to him.
PM Modi said that the government’s emphasis on local products through ‘Vocal for Local Campaign’, ‘One District, One Product’ scheme has also helped in increasing exports. Now many of our products are being exported to new countries of the world for the first time.
The Prime Minister further said that the building of Vijairiya Bhawan and the NIRYAT portal reflect our aspirations of ‘Self-reliant India’. It will bring positive changes in the field of trade and commerce. Especially this will benefit the MSME industry. Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal was also present on the occasion.
At the same time, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said that this will be a digital building in which there will be no pile of documents. The full name of NIRYAT is (National Import-Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade). This new building of Udyog Bhawan has been constructed near India Gate. Modern technology has been used in the construction of this commercial building. Special care has been taken especially for saving energy. This building will be used by two departments under the ministry. On the NIRYAT portal, people will get all the necessary information related to Indian foreign business.
