Deoband: Mehmood Madani has become emotional in the conference of Jamiat being held in Deoband, UP and he said that fire cannot be extinguished by fire. Madani said that we have become strangers in our own country, we do not have to be disheartened even during difficult situations.
Speaking in the temple-mosque controversy, Madani said that the priests of hatred have increased in the country, today it is difficult for a Muslim to walk in the country.
A huge gathering of Jamiat-ul-Hind is being held in Deoband. Today, about 5 thousand Muslim religious gurus from all over the country have gathered in Deoband.
During this, in the meeting being presided over by Mahmood Madani, Madani said that Muslims should not be disappointed, our heart knows what is difficult for us, but hatred is not the answer to hatred. There is a market of hatred in the country.
Three resolutions were passed in the organization of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in Deoband of Saharanpur:-
1) Immediate steps should be taken in line with the recommendations of the 267th report of the Law Commission in 2017, which said that a separate law should be drafted to punish those who incite violence.
2) March 14 is observed as ‘International Day to Combat Islamophobia’.
3) A department has been created by the Ulema, the ‘Justice and Empowerment Initiative for Indian Muslims’, to develop strategies to combat injustice and oppression, but efforts have to be made on the ground as well.
