The company has already started the unofficial bookings for this car and the prices of the car will be announced on June 16. Now, a 3D model configuration of the exterior design of the facelifted Hyundai Venue ahead of its launch has leaked online. Leaked 3D model images show the upcoming Hyundai Venue facelift with a parametric jewel grille, but the car could see the same split headlight setup as the current model. However, the upper part of the headlight has been replaced with sleek lamps. The front bumper has also been updated for a more simple look.
It gets 16-inch alloys, but apart from this, there is no significant change in the side profile. It also gets connected LED taillights and a restyled bumper. While the images of the 3D model have revealed several changes, the overall boxy silhouette of the SUV remains unchanged.
The Hyundai Venue facelift is also expected to receive some updates inside the cabin. It might get an updated upholstery and a redesigned central console. The facelifted Venue is likely to get some new features including full LED lighting, a larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a potentially premium Bose sound system, front ventilated seats and four airbags (standard).
Powertrain Option (Expected)
The engine and transmission options of the 2022 Venue are likely to remain the same. It can come with 83PS 1.2-litre petrol with 5-speed manual, 100PS 1.5-litre diesel with 6-speed manual and 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol with 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT. It can also get a diesel-automatic option like the Kia Sonet. Hyundai will also introduce the second N Line model in India with the facelifted Venue.
The updated Venue will be priced higher than the current model which starts at Rs 7.11 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and goes up to Rs 11.83 lakh. This Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breeze, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Kia Sonet And Mahindra XUV300 Will continue to compete.
