New Delhi: new range rover sport (Range Rover Sport) has been unveiled in India. The SUV manufacturer (Land Rover) has now announced the prices of the car. The price of Range Rover Sport has been updated on the company’s Indian website.
The new Range Rover Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. The 3.0-litre engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The engine generates maximum power of 345bhp and peak torque of 700Nm. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds. The new Range Rover Sport, on the other hand, can achieve a top speed of 234 kmph. In the future, we expect the Land Rover to offer hybrid and V8 variants of the SUV.
Design and Features
The new Range Rover Sport is built on the MLA-Flex architecture, which makes its wheelbase longer than the old model. The front of the SUV gets a sporty look with slimmer grille and headlamps. The new model offers flush-fitting door handles. The rear bumper also gets a black skid plate along with two rectangular exhaust tips.
When it comes to features, the SUV gets a 13.1-inch touchscreen, 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, 22-way power-adjustable seats, dynamic air suspension and more. Some of the notable features include heads-up display, driver assist pack, surround-view camera setup, heated outside rear view mirror, leather upholstery and more.
trims and prices
The new Range Rover Sport is available in four trims. The four trims are Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography and First Edition. The Dynamic SE variant is priced at Rs 1.64 crore while the Dynamic HSE variant costs Rs 1.71 crore. The top trims i.e. Autobiography and First Edition are priced at Rs 1.81 lakh and Rs 1.84 lakh respectively.
Buyers can buy the new Range Rover Sport at an initial price of Rs 1.64 crore. The Range Rover Sport is available in four trims and the top variant goes up to Rs 1.84 crore. It is expected that Land Rover will start booking the SUV in the coming months. The new Range Rover Sport is expected to be delivered around the end of the year.
