New Delhi: The fire that broke out in a factory in Delhi’s Narela on Saturday night is yet to be controlled. Several fire tenders are still engaged in extinguishing the fire this morning. The work of making plastic granules was done in this factory. So far there is no news of any loss of life or property in this fire accident.
According to Delhi Fire Department’s ADO AK Sharma, the fire was completely extinguished in the night, but there were small materials inside and due to no water falling on it again, the fire started again. Fire extinguishing work continues.
Fire officials say that there are no reports of any casualties so far. Fire officials said that at 9.10 pm, the fire department got information about the fire in H block of Narela industrial area. 12 fire tenders were immediately dispatched from the nearby stations.
The fire had spread to two floors of the factory and flames were coming out of the factory. Firefighters first cut off the power supply of the factory there and then started extinguishing the fire. But in view of the magnitude of the fire, 13 more vehicles were called to the spot after declaring it as moderate at 10 o’clock.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, but due to the fire, the entire area was stirred and there was panic.
Significantly, a massive fire broke out in Mundka, Delhi on Friday evening. In this incident 27 people were killed and many people were injured.
