Bhubaneswar: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) head constable saved the life of a woman after she got stuck in the gap between the platform and a moving train at Bhubaneswar railway station in Odisha yesterday.
The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the railway station.
The video shows the woman with a fellow passenger getting down from a passenger train as she was leaving the railway station. However, she lost her balance and slipped into the gap between the station and the train.
RPF head constable S Munda, who was present at the railway station, took immediate action and pulled the woman out of the ditch.
It is seen in the video that all three were lying on their backs at the railway station, while a major accident was averted.
