You can easily eat these spicy mathris as a snack with hot tea in the evening, so let’s know the recipe of making Besan Masala Mathri-
Ingredients to make Besan Masala Mathri-
-2 cups besan
-2 cups flour
-1 pinch asafoetida
-1/2 tsp cumin
-1/2 tsp turmeric powder
-1/2 tsp coriander powder
-1/4 tsp garam masala
-1/4 tsp red chili powder
-1/2 tsp fennel
-1/2 tsp ajwain
– oil as needed
– salt to taste
Recipe to make Besan Masala Mathri-
To make this, first of all, take all purpose flour in a bowl.
Then you put salt, carom seeds and some oil in it.
After this, with the help of water, knead a hard dough and keep it covered for about 15 minutes.
Then in another bowl add gram flour, salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder.
After this, add coriander powder, asafoetida, garam masala, cumin, fennel and some oil to it.
Then you mix all the things and with the help of water make a hard dough and keep it covered for about 15 minutes.
After this, take the dough of both maida and gram flour, cut it into 4 parts and make a dough of them.
Then you roll both the dough balls and place the gram flour poori on top of the maida puri and roll it out.
After this, cut this roll into small pieces with the help of a knife and roll it lightly by pressing it with your hand.
Then you pierce this mathri with the help of a fork, so that the mathri does not swell. In the same way, prepare all the dough by making mathris.
After this, put oil in a pan and heat it for frying mathris.
Then put all the mathris in hot oil on medium flame and fry them till they become golden.
Now your besan masala mathri is ready.
After cooling, you can store them in a container and eat them for months.
