Weather Update: In many states of the country, people are in bad condition due to heat. People are suffering from heat due to strong sunlight. Since morning the rays of sunshine remain as if fire is raining from the sky. Due to the sun, it has become difficult for people to come out on the roads in the afternoon. People are getting drenched in sweat because of the scorching sun. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may change in the coming few days. Also, light rain may occur at some places.
There is a possibility of heat wave in many areas including Delhi-NCR till April 30 in the midst of scorching heat. According to MID, the temperature will also increase in the coming days. Light rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on April 29.
During the next 4 to 5 days, the maximum temperature is likely to increase by 2-3 degrees over Gujarat and Maharashtra. By April 30, there will be severe heat in the eastern parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be thunderstorms or lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh from today to April 30. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in isolated parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland and Manipur. There is a possibility of lightning in these areas during this period.
Amidst the scorching heat, a major reason for the sudden change in weather is being told to a western disturbance coming out over the Himalayas.
According to the Skymet Weather forecast, there is a possibility of dust storm in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.
