This time it is getting record breaking heat in most of the states of North India. The mercury has reached above 44 in Delhi. In the afternoon, the hot winds are also making life difficult for the people. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heat in the capital till the beginning of May. However, during this there will also be a thunderstorm on April 29. Not only in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana, but also in the hill states of Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, the maximum temperature has crossed 40 degrees. On Wednesday, the highest temperature in the country was in Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh. Here the mercury had reached 45.6. Delhi, Bengal and Uttarakhand issued an alert regarding the scorching heat. According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave conditions are likely to persist over East, Central and Northwest India during the next 5 days.

Also, there is a possibility of heatwave conditions in isolated areas in Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar. Similar conditions may prevail in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Interior Odisha and northern part of Gujarat state as well. During the next three days, the maximum temperature is expected to rise by about 2 degrees Celsius over most parts of Northwest India.

According to the Meteorological Department, today’s minimum temperature in Delhi will be 23 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 43 degree Celsius. Today there will be heat wave conditions. At the same time, the temperature can go up to 44 degree Celsius on Friday. Today’s minimum temperature in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is going to be 28 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 44 degree Celsius. Today’s minimum temperature in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, will be 25 degree Celsius and maximum temperature will be up to 42 degree Celsius.
